An angel crossed my path today as I sat in waiting
A vision of past lives traipses through my mind
Coincidence maybe or a Godly encounter
I called out to show my admiration
And you shyly gave notice
Conjured up lost emotions
And visions of what could have been
Shyly you smile & carry on just the same
In my heart I said hey love...
In my mind I understand
My soul said don't let go love

I stood in line all night to see you in bloom

2008 California General Election

Here it is November 4Th and the most important day in American history over the last 8 years! There are major implications that can change the fabric of one of the most revered nations in the world. So many social issues are on the table and the economy is quickly falling in the toilet. I took this time, my 1st year ever, to vote on many of these issues and hopefully make my presence felt and help bring to this nation a new resounding voice of the people. Many people think they know how I voted because I'm African-American, truth is, I don't agree with plenty of issues that both candidates promote & represent.

I will tell you this... I voted for my daughter's future!
