2008 California General Election

Posted by Key in , , ,

Here it is November 4Th and the most important day in American history over the last 8 years! There are major implications that can change the fabric of one of the most revered nations in the world. So many social issues are on the table and the economy is quickly falling in the toilet. I took this time, my 1st year ever, to vote on many of these issues and hopefully make my presence felt and help bring to this nation a new resounding voice of the people. Many people think they know how I voted because I'm African-American, truth is, I don't agree with plenty of issues that both candidates promote & represent.

I will tell you this... I voted for my daughter's future!

Entrance to the Sherman Oaks Lutheran Church polling facility

Comedy highlight as one of the volunteers sports Communist Russian gear

Another volunteer handing me my ballot

If you're like me, you've never see one of these before... Vuala!

A close up of my official ballot & how it's inserted.

Ugly pic of me staring down at the 1st order of business

Ooooooowwww.... the possibilities

Decisions.... Decisions... Decisions...

Rapping things up and handing in my ballot!

Nice piece of material that shows me how to follow up to make sure my vote counted!!

Better but still ugly pick of me just before i was done!
(i'm much better looking in person... ask ya girlfriend... LMAO!)

Here's my receipt showing I placed my vote!!

Me walking away from the facility feeling somewhat accomplished!!

My official badge to show my civic duty & the execution of my rights as an American!!

Wow! You're the first I find to give such a comprehensive "reflection" of your voting experience. I always wondered what it was like cos I am not American.

I guess it's a little similiar but as Singapore is small, we have only one form to fill. Rarely more than 3 candidates per constituency here.

Your daughter is in good hands I think!

Hello...very intriguing little performance. Being a Canadian I myself was not given an option to vote in this years USA election.
Probably a good thing...it made my choice that much easier.
Oh...remember..beauty is in the eye of the beholder!
Have a very good day!
