What's life like...?
When times are hard & no light in sight!

What's life like...?
When money's short & the markets rough

What's life like...?
When love is gone no body's home
Wondering what went wrong

What's life like...?
When my God he calls
Still I stall & continually fall

What's life like...?
I walk around I try to smile
Yet my heart still frowns!

What's life like...?
When I meet a girl
But she's of the world
Yet I still can't feel what is real!

What's life like...?
When all I do is cry for you
No hope in sight so I live in plight
Whether wrong or right
So filled with pride
So still I fight!
I can go on & on
Till I'm blue in the face
Yet time I still waste

What's life like...?
I gotta find a way to open up & let it go
Realize life is tough for everyone
Whether wrong or right
So I shed my soul & the world it holds
I'm torn right now unsure of where my life belongs
Am I wrong or right
Should I accept my plight & give up the fight!
